U.S. oil prices touch lowest levels of the year as tariff threat hurts demand outlook

Oil futures declined Tuesday, with U.S. benchmark prices falling under $70 a barrel to touch their lowest levels of the year, with the economy and energy demand expected to take a hit from proposed U.S. tariffs on Canada and Mexico.
