Equinor ASA, a multinational energy company headquartered in Norway, is indeed listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as an American Depositary Receipt (ADR). Equinor's ADR trades under the ticker symbol "EQNR". ADRs are a mechanism for U.S. investors to invest in foreign companies without directly owning the underlying shares.
